About Our Auction

Did you know that caring for a single healthy kitten can cost over $200? It’s true! These adorable little ones are definitely cute, but caring for them isn’t always inexpensive.

This year, kitten season was extra tough with the addition of COVID, and it’s still in full swing! The season started early, and while many shelters were closed or rescues were limiting intake, Nashville Cat Rescue continued to take in kittens and cats from all situations. It started with an influx of pregnant mom cats, which led to hundreds of kittens. And it never stopped. We stepped in to help on everything from heartbreaking hoarding situations, to supporting those experiencing financial hardships due to the current environment. Not to mention - the stray population keeps growing.

And that’s why we need your help! We are a volunteer-run 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and your donations make all the difference! When you contribute to NCR, you help thousands of cats and kittens who might otherwise not be given a chance. A chance to be brought indoors. A chance to have a full belly. And a chance to find a forever home with a family who will love them unconditionally.

Please check out our auction, share with your friends, and be sure to bid on the great items donated by so many generous individuals and companies! Together, we can continue our lifesaving work!

About Nashville Cat Rescue

Since 2005 Nashville Cat Rescue has been dedicated to rescuing cats and kittens from high-kill shelters and off the streets and placing them in loving, permanent homes.

NCR is an entirely foster run organization enabling all funds to go directly to the care and treatment of our animals. Every cat is cared for in a foster's home where they received the love and medical attention that they need.

NCR fosters have experience caring for kittens and cats from all different backgrounds and situations. Working to tame feral cats, co-parenting with first-time Moms, and bottle feeding day old orphans through the night.
