About Our Auction

Our current Silent Auction - A Voice for All - will introduce you to the World of Autism through Art. Art speaks to us all & this is especially true for those among us who may not be able to give voice to their emotions, ideas and thoughts. Communication unites us as a people - forms of communication differ for us all. Some are great orators & story tellers, many communicate through music & poetry, the joy of storytelling through sign language often captures our attention. We are enthralled by the motions & graceful movements, even though not all of us can understand or communicate in this manner. But ART - Art is the great communicator - the Universal Language! This is especially true for our Spotlight Artist Mitchell Albrecht.

Mitchell communicates with the world differently than many of us. His amazing & unique perspective is a result of a diagnosis of autism & hearing impairment. Too often we don’t take the time to discover what inspires those who are different or to embrace their unique communication approaches. With Mitchell, we are allowed insight through his mastery of the paintbrush & find joy in his exceptional view of the world. We invite you to join us in the wonder of exploring Mitchell’s distinctive voice.

Please take a moment to visit Mitchell's webpage at https://www.ProjectHelpNevada.org/Mitchell to view videos on Mitchell in action and learn more about him and the Project Help Nevada project.

About Project Help Nevada, Inc.

Project Help Nevada is dedicated to empowering youth and adults to build positive relationships, strengthen employability, develop self-esteem and create healthy families.

We envision a world where adults and youth realize their potential and positively impact their communities. As such, we work with individuals to discover their unique talents and what sets their soul on fire!

At Project Help Nevada our primary target population are youth - those aging out of foster care, homeless, seeking employment for the first time or struggling with the transition from adolescence to adulthood. We provide workforce development and life skills training with a goal of successfully transitioning these young people into adulthood.

One focus at Project Help Nevada is serving individuals with an intellectual or developmental disability to successfully become employed in a field of their choosing. We believe that tangible, long term results is the key to success.
