About Our Auction
Miss Fisher Con is an annual fan convention celebrating the Australian TV series, Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries. Miss Fisher Con brings Miss Fisher fans together from all over the world for a weekend of fun and friendship!
The convention is produced by a group of fans turned friends, who created the social club The Adventuresses' Club of the Americas. Adventuresses' Club of the Americas is an American non-profit organization.
Funds raised will be used to support the annual fan convention.
About Adventuresses Club of the Americas
The Adventuresses’ Club of the Americas (ACotA) seeks to promote and encourage fellowship of the fans of Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries, through social activities, by providing platforms for discussion, and by producing the annual Miss Fisher Con fan convention.
Once upon a time, a group of women from as far north as Toronto and as far south as Rio de Janeiro were brought together by the awesome power of a certain lady detective and her found family in Melbourne, circa 1928. They gravitated to the fandom spaces, made friends, and formed a found family of their own.
After countless hours (days, weeks, months) were spent discussing Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries (both Kerry Greenwood’s original books and Every Cloud Productions’ TV show) online and even in person, a glorious idea came to be: What if we could set up a spot where we not only met up in person, but had a chance to dive into the topics we love about the show IN REAL TIME? And thus, the idea of a Miss Fisher convention was born.
Proceeds of this auction directly support the mission of ACotA, and the hosting of Miss Fisher Con.
