Merri Creek Primary School Fete Auction 2019

The Merri Creek Primary School Fete Auction for 2019 is the auction of items and services donated by businesses, families and the local community to raise funds for Merri Creek Primary School in Fitzroy North. Funds raised by the auction go towards improving facilities at the school.

The online component of the auction begins at 8pm on Wednesday 6th March and concludes at 10pm on Wednesday 20th March. If you are the winning bidder the item is then yours. Bidding for auction items passed in will then continue at the Merri Creek Primary School Fete on Saturday 23rd March, from 10am until 2pm. Selected items will also be auctioned in a live, called auction on stage.

Established in 1891, Merri Creek Primary is a public primary school, situated on the banks of the Merri Creek in Fitzroy North. At Merri Creek, our vision is to create an environment where students strive to achieve personal success and develop a sense of belonging, in order to participate positively in society. Parents and teachers work in partnership to support each child's learning journey. We provide opportunities for students, staff and parents to contribute to areas for improvement and planning that will enhance each student's learning and their social and emotional needs.

Specialist teachers provide classroom music, Italian, library and visual art programmes for all our students and an extensive instrumental music programme operates after school throughout the week. Special school events include the Writers' Festival, Arts Festival, school musical, regular rock band assemblies, interschool sport, sustainability learning opportunities, swimming programme and school camps and excursions.

We encourage a love of lifelong learning, to help our students better understand themselves and their ever-changing world.

There will be a live on stage auction on Saturday 23rd March (Fete Day!) at the school between around 1145am and 12 noon at which a few special items will be auctioned off. Come along and raise your hand!
