Bid, Win and Have a Grin

The money collected will be used for the following purposes:

1) to guarantee the students of the Bandawe School for the Hearing Impaired a cup of milk (3 times per week) and a portion of meat (1 day per week).

2) to make sure the families of the 7 children we support have food on the table (and ideally some gifts) for Christmas.

3) to support with some food the students of the Saint Maria Goretti for the Visually Impaired. Due to current political situation, the government has stopped sending them funds.

We founded Marajowi back in 2010, after we came back from spending 4 months in Africa. While there we fell in love with the people in Malawi and decided to keep helping some of them. Marajowi takes its name from the initials of the 4 children who touched our hearts more deeply: MAlita, RAmos, JOyce and WItness.
Marajowi is fully committed to ensuring that all the children have the basic things they need for school and are in good health. The final aim is to have the kids completely independent and able to take care of themselves in their grown up lives. We have been following Malita, Ramos, Joyce and Witness since 2010. By now they are teenagers, they are getting a good education, good living conditions and they are as healthy as possible. In 2015 we took onboard 3 more kids: Katie, Stella and Gift. They also attend a school now and are receiving proper education and care.
