About Our Auction

Known as one of the premier charity golf tournaments in Hawai‘i, Links to Literacy is now celebrating its 27th year! Links to Literacy supports the 51 public libraries of the Hawai‘i State Public Library System (HSPLS) through Friends of the Library of Hawai‘i (FLH). Funds raised at the tourney provide nearly half of the FLH annual budget for public library programs, promotion, and other support.

For the first time, our Links to Literacy auction will be ONLINE! We are excited about giving our FLH community members the chance to bid on the many amazing items donated by generous Hawaii and mainland companies and individuals!

Also for the first time, online donations can be made directly to local branches to fulfill librarian's wish lists. Bid now! And thank you for supporting Hawai`i's 51 public libraries!

About Friends of the Library of Hawaii

The Friends of the Library of Hawai‘i is a nonprofit organization whose primary objective is to maintain free public libraries in the State of Hawai‘i, to promote extension of library services throughout the State of Hawai‘i and to increase the facilities of the public library system of Hawai‘i by securing materials beyond the command of the ordinary library budget. Other objectives are to focus attention on libraries and to encourage and accept, by bequest or gift, donations of books, manuscripts, money, and other appropriate material that can enrich the cultural opportunities available to the people of Hawai‘i.
