Ligon Arts Boosters Silent Auction

The Ligon Arts Boosters (LAB) Silent Auction helps to provide the funding needed to allow our 9 amazing teachers who instruct approximately 800 students each quarter in Band, Orchestra, Theater, Dance, Chorus, 2-D and 3-D Visual Arts programs. Specific ways that we support arts education include: $1,000 teacher stipends, field trip scholarships for students, funding for instrument repair and much more.

Ligon Arts is one of the reasons that parents and teachers choose to attend our magnet school. Help us continue to provide an outstanding arts education to the diverse group of students that attend our school by bidding boldly in the LAB Silent Auction.

Ligon Arts Boosters was founded on September 21, 1983 and is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization established to support arts education at Ligon Middle School.

Our school attracts magnet students from all over Wake County to participate in Band, Orchestra, Theater, Dance, Chorus, 2-D and 3-D Visual Arts programs. With the generosity and support that we receive from parents, businesses, and community leaders, we are able to provide the funding needed to allow our amazing teachers to continue to provide an outstanding arts education to the diverse group of students that attend our school.

Specific ways that we support arts education include: $2,000 teacher stipends; funding for clinicians, supplies, events; and much more listed on our website.
