SBA Indigenous Basketballs

The purpose of our Auction is to raise much needed funds for two Indigenous entities in our area that don't receive any government funding. All funds raised will help the two entities establish programs for the indigenous youth and elderly within our community.

The Shoalhaven Tigers are a not for profit basketball association based on the New South Wales south coast. 2018 marked the 60th anniversary of basketball in the Shoalhaven 1958-2018. Originally played on outdoor courts at Nowra High School and in disused aircraft hangars at HMAS Albatross. Shoalhaven Basketball is hosting an Inaugural Indigenous Round of Basketball with its three Waratah League Senior Representative teams on the 6th July this year. We will be auctioning three Spalding basketballs decorated in indigenous designs by talented local Aboriginal artist Desley Stewart the three balls will be in-cased in perspex display boxes with a plaque commemorating the Round.
