This year's auction is in memory of our friend and supporter Scott M. Balcomb. Scott was instrumental in helping River Bridge set up to be our own nonprofit so that we may help more children and families in our valley. Many of the items that businesses donated to us, where in honor of Scott and his legacy. Proceeds from this auction will help create and support The Scott M. Balcomb Memorial Garden at River Bridge Regional Center in Glenwood Springs.

Founded in 2007, River Bridge Regional Center's (RBRC) mission is to provide collaborative services to child abuse victims, their families and the community in a supportive environment though a child centered approach. RBRC provides prevention and intervention services for children (ages 0-18) and vulnerable adults who have allegedly been abused (physically and/or sexually), or who have been witnesses to violence.

Since 2018, RBRC has managed the Mountain West SANE Alliance, a program that provides adult and adolescent victims of sexual assault compassionate and trauma informed forensic exams and evidence collection to aid in their healing process.
