HIT 14th Annual Fall Gala

The Heroes In Transition family will come together at The Coonamessett on Friday, September 22, to celebrate the critically important work that HIT is doing to assist service members, veterans, and military families in our region.

The theme of this year’s Gala is “A Legacy of Love,” which recognizes the love that Cyndy and Ken Jones had for their only son, U.S. Marine Captain Eric Jones. Their love for Eric led to the creation of HIT and is embedded in the work our organization does which positively impacts more than 1,400 individuals on an annual basis.

Heroes in Transition (HIT) provides assistance for veterans, service members and their families not readily available from government agencies or other providers. This assistance strengthens relationships, builds community, empowers individuals and provides a pathway to healing for those we serve. HIT improves quality of life, communication, and resiliency skills for all, through responsible and professional leadership and in partnership with others.
