Every partner, project and community we work with is directly impacted by the COVID pandemic and lockdown. 


With tourism and schools closed, and communities in and out of lockdowns, we are working rapidly to ensure vital education, health and environmental gains are protected, and our programs continue. We are working with our health partner in Nepal to deliver vital medical equipment to help prevent and treat COVID in some of the most remote villages.

The Australian Himalayan Foundation (AHF) is not-for-profit charity dedicated to helping the people of the Himalaya achieve their goals through education, health and environmental projects in Nepal, India and Bhutan.

AHF is a registered Australian NGO with no political or religious affiliations. It is a member of the Australian Council for International Development and has accreditation status with the Australian Government overseas aid program (DFAT).
