Herstory in Focus Silent Auction

Help us reach our $50,000 fundraising goal! Bid on any item in the Herstory in Focus Silent Auction to help raise funds for the Downtown Eastside Women's Centre's essential meals program. Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, services have been few and far between in the Downtown Eastside community. During this time, DEWC has continued to serve up to 500 meals daily, a constant support in the lives of women in need. Proceeds from the sale of these incredible items, generously donated by businesses and artists in our community, will help provide nutritious, hot meals and help connect women to a continuum of care and change at DEWC.

The Downtown Eastside Women's Centre (DEWC) has supported women and their children for over 40 years, providing a safe space, basic essentials, emergency drop-in shelter, and specialized supports and programs to women working and living in Vancouver's Downtown Eastside. DEWC serves as more than a resource hub, service provider, and sanctuary: it is a gathering place, shared living room, and irreplaceable cornerstone of belonging accessed by over 500 women, every single day.
