About Our Auction

Each year, we raise:
- $20,000 to send every student on a class field trip. The money pays for admission costs as well as buses required for transportation.
- $28,000 to fund one extra day a week of music education from our beloved music teacher, Mr. Petri. Due to budget cuts, Longfellow is funded for only one day of music for 1,000 students. The funds we raise allow for a second day of music education.
- $8,750 to provide each teacher with $275 classroom enhancement budget which facilitates student learning.

There are many other items we fundraise for as well, but these are the main ones. The total for just the above is $56,750. Your support to help us meet our yearly goal is vital to our success. Thank you for being a part of it!

The Longfellow PTA is a strong and dedicated group of parents, teachers, administrators, students and community who is committed to continued excellence by providing a safe and positive school environment. We are a 2016-18 nationally recognized PTA “School of Excellence” and “Green Ribbon School” that works diligently for the benefit of all of the K-5th grade students at our school.
