About Our Auction
Your generosity will make a real difference in encouraging the careers of this year’s seven talented finalists, selected from over 150 singers in 10 different countries. The Silent Auction proceeds will help us provide travel grants to the finalists, period accompaniment by the Madison Bach Musicians, professional videos of each singer’s arias, cash prizes, and airfare to England for the first prize winner to perform a recital in Handel’s parish church during the London Handel Festival next year.
About Handel Aria Competition
The Handel Aria Competition is an annual event dedicated to promoting the performance of Handel’s extensive vocal repertoire. Finalists are chosen from applicants around the world to come to Madison, WI for a live concert accompanied by the Madison Bach Musicians.
