Girls on the Run WMA Sneaker Soirée

Girls on the Run Western MA is hosting a Sneaker Soirée on Thursday, October 5 from 5:30-8:00 pm at the Springfield Country Club. Guests can slip on their favorite sneakers for this fun event offering hors d'oeuvres, drinks, a silent auction, and an opportunity to hear stories from Girls on the Run participants and coaches.

All proceeds from the event will provide financial assistance so more youth can participate in Girls on the Run.

Girls on the Run Western MA inspires girls to be joyful, healthy, and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum that creatively integrates social-emotional learning, life skills, and physical activity. Trained, caring, and qualified coaches deliver the life skills curriculum by guiding small teams of girls through twice-a-week lessons on such topics as managing emotions, resolving conflict, expressing empathy, and making intentional decisions.

Established in 2015, Girls on the Run WMA is an independent council of Girls on the Run International, which has a network of over 170 locations across North America. Our Western MA non-profit serves more than 2,000 youth annually in grades 3-8 within the four Western MA counties.
