Hunting foxes with hounds have long been a part of our history. George Washington kept a pack of hounds for hunting prior to the Revolution. But General Washington was just one of many who shared the passion of hunting. Families in all stations in life kept hounds for sport.

Houston I. "Jack" Todd founded the Glenmore Hunt in 1930. The Masters of Foxhounds Association recognized our hunt in 1935. Since that time, the Glenmore hounds have chased foxes near Staunton, Virginia.

Glenmore members come from all walks of life including teachers, nurses and those retired from work. We invite you to help support fox chasing in the Valley of Virginia for another ninety-four years.

Get ready for a night filled with glamour, delicious cuisine, and lively entertainment at this year's Hunt Ball! This year's theme is "Jewels & Jeans".
Indulge in a delightful Cocktail & Mocktail Reception, savor a scrumptious meal, hit the dance floor, and enjoy our Awards and Silent Auction.
Tickets are $95 for adults and $70 for juniors. Reserve your spot today for an evening you won't want to miss! Tables of 6 or 8 are available, and individual reservations are welcome.
Additionally, limited lodging is available on-site, offering convenience and comfort, with each room featuring two queen beds and a private bath. Overnight guests are also welcome to join us for a light breakfast the following morning at the lodge.
