Rotary Coast TV Auction 2017

Thank you for logging on to our auction site. As always we have a great range of items donated by businesses and individuals here on the Sunshine Coast. This year we are extending the scope of our ever-popular TV Auction, by inviting online bidding in the week prior to the TV Auction, and of course during the auction evening itself.

The principal causes we are supporting this year are:
1. Scholarships for students going on to higher education, graduating from Elphinstone Secondary School next summer.
2. Funding the purchase and installation of a range of outdoor equipment for the Armour's Beach Redevelopment Project
3. Funding other local and international projects.

The Rotary Club of Gibsons (gibsonsrotary.org) and the Rotary Club of Sechelt (secheltrotary.ca) are part of the world-wide organization Rotary International. Rotarians are neighbours, community leaders and global citizens uniting for the common good. The first Rotary Club was started in 1905 and Rotary Clubs now exist in all parts of the world. We support both local and international projects.

The closing hours of this auction will be televised live on Coast TV (Channel 610 for High Definition, Channel 10 for Standard Definition) Online bidding will continue during the TV broadcast. In addition, for those who do not have internet access bids may be made by telephone, but only when the item concerned is being featured on TV. We strongly recommend that you use online bidding rather than telephone bidding if possible, as online bids are more certain and generate e-mail messages back to you about the status of your bid.

The closing time for the end of bidding for each item is shown on the item page, just below the item title. This is an indicator of when each item will be featured on TV - normally for 10 minutes preceding the closing time. Both telephone bidding and online bidding close at the same time.
