Gary Mack Painting

The purpose of this silent auction is to raise funds for the Beaches Town Center Agency, so that they can continue to improve Neptune and Atlantic Beach's central business districts. Auctioning off Gary Mack's recreation of 'the corner' is a new and innovative fundraising effort put into motion by the Beaches Town Center Agency. Locals and visitors interested in viewing the original artwork in person can visit select Beaches Town Center merchants following Dancin' in the Street (May 16), including Ragtime, Red Daisy, and The Palms Retro. The painting will be on display at these various locations until bidding closes on July 6, 2015 at midnight - bids start at $1500.

Since 1991, BTCA has been fundraising to make the central business districts of Neptune and Atlantic Beach more inviting with major enhancements in landscaping and public amenities, including park benches, bike racks, and the life-size jaguar and sea turtle, which children can be seen climbing. BTCA is also responsible for the Christmas decorations, annual brick sales, Dancin' in the Street and bi-annual Full Moon Party. BTCA's continuous goal is to come up with new, innovative fundraising efforts because without fundraising, the enhancements to Beaches Town Center would be impossible.
