About Our Auction

The Annual Spruce Peak Founder’s Cup is a benefit for Spruce Peak Arts – Our region’s curated window to the world, using the stage to expand perspectives and enrich lives. Your support helps Spruce Peak Arts create accessibility to the arts, as well as enhance educational experiences for area students, families, and community organizations, all year-round.

About Spruce Peak Arts

Spruce Peak Arts CULTIVATES community through UNPARALLED artistic experiences that celebrate the unique character of Vermont and its vibrant cultural spirit FROM our beautiful home in Stowe. We achieve this mission by connecting ACCLAIMED artists with homegrown talent to create extraordinary experiences in our community living room to ensure access to the arts for all.

Spruce Peak Arts anticipates serving 32,000 audience members this year, made up of both locals and visitors. Over the past several years, our expanded and elevated programming has begun to attract audiences who are traveling to Stowe specifically for performances. These visitors dine in local restaurants, stay in local lodging, and shop locally.

Beyond tourism impact, Spruce Peak Arts functions as a year-round community engine. In 2026 alone, we have already committed $75,000 grant funding to local dance companies, theater groups, schools and musicians. This funding goes directly towards education and support for artists and cultural organizations.

Our Homegrown in Vermont Initiative provides year-round training, professional development, and paid, real-world opportunities for emerging Vermont artists —supporting and strengthening the state’s creativity and ensuring that talent can flourish here.

Education is another cornerstone of our work. We offer paid internships in theater technology in association with UVM and St Michaels College.  We serve 20 schools annually through theater matinee performances. With philanthropic support, we are able to keep student ticket prices at $10, ensuring accessibility regardless of school resources.  We connect schools to our donors to fund bussing when this becomes a barrier to accessing the arts.

Finally, our Local Heroes Initiative provides free tickets to the people who keep our community functioning every day—teachers, emergency service providers, tradespeople, snowplow operators, essentially anyone who contributes positively to our community —so that world-class artistic experiences are accessible to those who may otherwise face barriers to participation.

We thank you for your support and hope you know it makes a real difference in both our local and artistic communities.
