Food for Our Heroes

My mom came home one day and mentioned to me that the Fairfax Inova nurses have to reuse their masks for one whole week before they receive a new one. I thought, how would I be able to help?

I first thought maybe I can get together with some of my friends and we can sew masks individually at our home and we can donate them, homemade masks are better than a week old mask. But then my mom and I went on to the Fairfax Inova website to look for ways to help and donate. Inova is in need of personal protection equipment but is not accepting any homemade masks for donations. But I thought to myself, there must be other ways we can help. I’d like to sell my artwork to buy meals for hardworking front line heroes. By doing this, we will also be supporting small local businesses too. These artworks will enhance the beauty of your homes, support small local restaurants and show our appreciation for our amazing heroes.

we will use all donations from the auction sales to purchase meals from our small local businesses.
