Holidays at Home: Festival of Trees 2020

Each year, the Flint Hills Volunteer Center hosts the Festival of Trees Gala to raise money to help fund our many programs. Due to COVID, this year we will be hosting the event with a virtual twist as we bring the holiday spirit to you in the comfort of your own home!

We will have beautifully decorated artificial trees, wreaths, mantels, and entryway displays that will get you in the holiday spirit!

The Festival of Trees is a magical way to begin the holiday season and your support will make it possible.

The Flint Hills Volunteer Center is driven by its mission of connecting volunteers to the needs of our community. As our community grows rapidly, the issues we face continue to increase in providing resources for unmet basic human needs. We currently have a database of over 1200 volunteers, serving 60 nonprofit agencies, and over 145 volunteer opportunities. Volunteers provide services to several of our core programs including Connecting Students to Communities, Suicide Prevention, Elder Justice: Frauds and Scams, Opioid Epidemic, Neighbor 2 Neighbor and more. Volunteer opportunities available for middle school, high school, college students, families, veterans, active-duty soldiers, senior citizens, and more.

Our trees, mantel displays, large wreaths, and the trip to Tuscany will have pre-bidding online prior to our live auction on November 19th at 7pm.

You are welcome to bid now and the highest bid online will be the starting bid for the live Zoom auction. Should no one bid on the item during the live Zoom auction then the highest online bid is the winner.

All other items are online-only and will end on November 20th at 12pm.
