Fempocalypse is the annual fundraiser produced by the folks in Nightwood Theatre's Young Innovators Program.
This year, we are excited to raise funds for Anduhyaun Inc., a not-for-profit, charitable agency founded to respond to the needs of Toronto's Indigenous women. It was first established in 1973 as a hostel and over the last four decades, Anduhyaun Inc. has expanded to create culturally-inclusive, safe spaces for women and their children at various stages of life. About Young Innovators
Young Innovators (YI) Program is a program given by Nightwood Theatre, Canada’s foremost feminist theatre.
Whether a Young Innovator joins the program as a born administrator, stage manager, designer, director, actor or playwright (or beyond), Nightwood aims to deepen their understanding of each dimension of professional theatre, opening them up to new complementary facets of their practice. Young Innovators are given the unique opportunity to forge connections with one another in a pivotal time in their careers, and ignite a lasting personal and professional relationship with Nightwood Theatre.
