It started with a china plate.
We bought at the local charity shop.
Of the Simon Community in Clare.
Then we figured it worth a lot more than we bought it for.
So came the idea to sell it for the same charity.
We looked into their field.
They deal with the housing problems that are already acute.
Homelessness.
It's noble.
And much needed unfortunately.
In Ireland's soaring housing crisis.

After a few discussions with local friends.
We figured one china plate won't make a splash.
I asked my wife: "Hun, do we have anything else to put up for the auction?"
She replied: "Sure, check my Etsy shop."
Then I looked into my talents to see what else we can offer.
As a product.
This is how we get to the final roster.
In house to make the experiment a breeze.
This is the first time ever we raise funds for a charity.
So, a big thank you for bidding.

Where the money will go?

We will split this first auction.
Evenly with the charity we're running it for.
After we deducted the costs.
The reason's simple.
We want to make it sustainable.
Which includes sustaining ourselves.

We're a family moved to Ireland from the over regulated Hungary.
Just before Christmas 2015.
Charity shops abounds in every Irish city.
We love them.
But not everybody is offline enough these days.
After buying a numbered china plate co-designed by Heidi Klum.
And Giorgio Armani.
We couldn't let go the idea.
Of running a charitable auction for non-profits.
The charities we are concentrating on are the ones fighting the housing crisis.
Since this is the most pressing on us too.
