Welcome to the Elk Auction 2024!
All proceeds benefit the HRCA Backcountry Wilderness Area's 501c3 nonprofit, the Backcountry Wilderness Area Fund.
The mission of the Backcountry Wilderness Area Fund is to improve wildlife habitat, inspire the next generation of nature stewards, and ignite a lifelong love of the outdoors for all. Funds raised through events like the Elk Auction directly impact our mission's efforts like fire mitigation, HABITAT IMPROVEMENT, engaging local students with no-cost environmental education, and recreational opportunities.
***Extended Auction Bidding: The Extended Bidding option automatically extends the end time of an item by 3 minutes when it receives a bid during the final 3 minutes. This process repeats until no new bids are received during the final 3 minutes of the item bidding window or the auction has been extended for a maximum of 30 minutes beyond the original end time.

About HRCA Backcountry Wilderness Area
The HRCA Backcountry Wilderness Area is a 13-square-mile wildlife habitat conservation property in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. The majority of the land is reserved for wildlife to live mostly uninterrupted by human contact. It is an oasis for wildlife surrounded by a quickly expanding metro area. Additionally, there are 26 miles of natural surface trails, three archery ranges, nature programs, horse programs, and Camp Backcountry to engage youth in the outdoors.
The Backcountry Conservation and Education Fund is a 501c3 nonprofit that celebrates and champions the conservation of Backcountry Wilderness Area in Highlands Ranch. Our nonprofit's mission is to improve wildlife habitat, inspire the next generation of nature stewards, and ignite a lifelong love of the outdoors for all.
