Day of Bridge 2020 Online Auction

The VICTORIA CLUBS will be hosting their seventh Day of Bridge benefiting Alzheimer Society BC, which equates to the Longest Day in the USA. The Bridge Games and Auction will be held online. All sanction fees, donations, and auction items go to Alzheimer Society British Columbia.

This year, the Alzheimer Charity Game (extra black points) will be Saturday June 22nd, a week after the Penticton Regional. The extra $2.00 table fee will go to Alzheimer Society of BC.
There are the 3 ways you can contribute to Alzheimer Society BC other than playing on the above date:
1. Participate in the Day of Bridge Auction 2023 which takes place on this website https://www.32auctions.com/DayofBridge2024. Click on “All Items” to see auction items. The auction begins April 22nd and ends June 20th at noon. All commitments by players and teachers and bidders must be completed by the end of September 2023. Game/lesson date and location to be discussed with bidder.
2. To get a tax receipt, you can donate directly using this link: http://joinbc.alzheimer.ca/goto/dayofbridge2024 (donation of $15+). This is also where you pay for your auction items on or before June 21th when you know you are the successful bidder. If you do a BUY NOW option, you can go right away to the link and pay for your purchase.
3. You may yourself donate a service or item to the auction and/or help find someone who can. i.e. major appliances, pots and pans, trips, bed and breakfasts, plane rides, hotel, store gift certificates, etc.

In addition, to the online mentoring games and lessons from some of our internationally acclaimed experts, we also offer other fun and useful services and gifts.

Auction Participants will be notified by email when their bid has been placed, also when it has been outbid and then, at the close of the auction, when it is the winning bid. If your bid is unsuccessful, please consider making a Donation instead.

All bids start at $20.00+. If you want to bid or over-bid on a service, all you have to do is click on the link on the corresponding auction item and place a bid in increments of $10.00+.
