About Our Auction

The Diabetes and Metabolism Research Center (DMRC) at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is funded through generous financial gifts. Unfortunately, due to COVID, our two major fundraising events were canceled for 2020. A community partner suggested we have an online silent auction to raise some money this year. We hope you find something you like, do some holiday shopping, and share our auction with others. Thank you for your support!

About Diabetes and Metabolism Research Center

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center Diabetes and Metabolism Research Center is a collective group of dedicated clinicians, educators, nutritionists, physician-scientists, research scientists, and support staff who offer a multi-disciplinary approach to managing, preventing, and curing diabetes. Our center's vision is “to prevent and cure diabetes, obesity, and metabolic disease through innovative research and discovery.” Our mission is "to develop a state-of-the-art research enterprise that partners with our unique clinical programs and improves the lives and well-being of our patients."

To reach our vision and mission, our team focuses on recruiting the best and brightest faculty; purchasing state-of-the-art technology and equipment; funding new and innovative research through our pilot grant program; hosting internal and external speakers to provide faculty and staff with the latest advances in research; offering diabetes maintenance and prevention programs through our diabetes education team; supporting our patients and communities through cooking demos, clinical trials for new drugs and technologies, communications, and outreach programs; and mentoring the next generation to become leaders in diabetes education, patient care, and research.
