We are holding our FIRST auction for Developmental Connections – a nonprofit serving children with autism, Asperger's and other developmental disabilities.

Students who do not develop innate social ability are poorly understood, left out in school, may be painfully aware of their differences, and often suffer from complex anxieties and mental health needs.

With tragic news stories seemingly everywhere we turn, it’s no wonder that mental health and its social side effects are at the forefront of our community’s mind.

Developmental Connections is a nonprofit organization based in Ashburn, VA that starts at the root of mental health for these children—social skills development. Our organization is designed to support children with such developmental disorders (i.e., Aspergers, Autism, ADHD, Sensory Integration Disorder, etc).

Principals see thousands of students graduate with honors but without the social ability to succeed in life. They know and feel there is a need, yet they don’t know how to fill it.

That's where we come in. Our award-winning program, Marvin's Club, fills this gap by partnering with schools to provide intensive and supportive after-school programs, social skills curriculum development and training for school staff members. We aim to change the outlook of students with social learning challenges and create better communities, one school at a time.
