About Charlene Reaveley Children's Charity
About the Charlene Reaveley Children’s Charity Society (CRCCS)
The Charlene Reaveley Children’s Charity Society (CRCCS) was founded in Spring 2011 by Charlene’s husband, Dan Reaveley, after the devastating loss of his wife in a tragic hit-and-run accident caused by a drunk driver. Left to navigate life as a single father to their four children, Dan turned his grief into action, inspired by Charlene’s passion for children and her dream of fostering a closer, more caring community.
Charlene had an incredible gift for bringing joy to children, always going out of her way to make them smile and feel loved. Her selfless spirit became the foundation of CRCCS, an organization dedicated to supporting families who are experiencing the pain of losing a loved one.
Through Dan’s personal journey, he realized the critical need for accessible grief counseling, resources for healing, and connections to others facing similar challenges. CRCCS was established to keep Charlene’s legacy alive by helping families navigate loss with compassion and care.
