Ladies Philoptochos Society of Assumption Greek Orthodox Church in Madison, Wisconsin, is sponsoring its first annual online silent auction fundraising event.
About Philoptochos:
Ladies Philoptochos Society is the philanthropic arm of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America that has offered 90 years of philanthropy through a multitude of programs that make a difference in the lives of people in the United States and throughout the world. The Greek word "Philoptochos" literally translates “friend of the poor”.
Our Mission: To aid the poor, the destitute, the hungry, the aged, the sick, the unemployed, the orphaned, the imprisoned, the widowed, the handicapped, the victim of disasters and to aid anyone who may need the help of the Church through fundraising efforts. We are a 501c3 organization, EIN: 11-3649002.
About Our Auction
The purpose of our Charitable Treasures online auction is to raise funds for the philanthropic work of Philoptochos, not only for charitable causes in our Madison community, but wherever there is a strong need across the globe. All of the proceeds from this event will be donated to these causes.

Auction Guidelines:
· Auction Timeline: 12:15 AM CDT, Thursday, June 10, 2021 - 11:45 PM CDT, Sunday, June 20, 2021.
· Your winning bid is considered intent to purchase.
· "Buy Now" ensures that the item is yours without competition.
· Auction Item Pickup date: Saturday, June 26, 2021.
· Auction Item Pickup time: 9:00 am to 4:00 pm
· Auction Item Pickup location: Assumption Greek Orthodox Church, 11 N. 7th Street, Madison, Wisconsin
· Payment transactions accepted online only.
· Accepted credit cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover.
· Auction winners receive email notification of their win.
· Prompt payment online ensures the item is ready for pickup.
· Payments in person are not accepted.
· Auction items of gift certificates and virtual services will be mailed, unless specified otherwise.
· Accommodations can be made for alternative day/time pickup, if necessary.
· Bidding and winning an item, is committing to purchase the item as is.
· No returns accepted.
