It’s our premier social and fundraising event of the year—The Celebration Classic™ Dinner and Golf Tournament! This year, we are delighted to honor Linda Rossen.
Few could match the energy, passion, and commitment Linda Rossen has shared with our community over the more than 30 years she and Ron have been members at Shir Hadash. From co-chairing multiple capital campaigns and major fundraising galas to working tirelessly on membership and community-building events, childhood development projects, and financial envisioning, Linda’s dedication has served as a role model to us all. As president from 2005 to 2007, Linda showcased her leadership capabilities. She is a mentor, a mensch, a shoulder to lean on, and a true friend to Shir Hadash. Help Shir Hadash in honoring Linda Rossen at our 2019 Celebration Classic Dinner and Golf Tournament.
Our golf tournament on Monday, April 29, at the Almaden Golf & Country Club, is a fun-filled scramble format, featuring a variety of contests and clinics for players.
You don’t have to be a golfer to participate! Join us for the dinner afterward as we toast our honoree. Lots of entertainment, prizes and surprises for all!
All proceeds will benefit Congregation Shir Hadash and its community programs aimed at improving lives in Santa Clara County, including:
Annual Healthy Living Fair
Outstanding pre-school serving local families of all backgrounds
Annual Mitzvah Day (good deeds) involving hundreds of volunteers
Blood drive in support of the Stanford Blood Center
Ongoing food drive for Second Harvest Food Bank
Social Justice Committee active in PACT (People Acting in Community Together)
