About Our Auction

The GAHCC will be hosting our annual Celebrando Gala on Saturday, October 15, 2022 during Hispanic Heritage Month. This annual celebration is lauded as one of Austin's most prestigious events, bringing together the largest and most impressive gathering of Latino business and community leaders, elected officials, and prominent community members.

During our Celebrando Gala we will be hosting a silent auction to help raise funds for our chamber's initiatives that help support and grow Austin's Latino business community through business development, culture, and advocacy.

About Greater Austin Hispanic Chamber of Commerce

The GAHCC was established in 1973 by 25 prominent Austin Hispanic leaders including former Mayor Gustavo “Gus” Garcia, former Senator Gonzalo Barrientos, Richard Moya, John Treviño, Gilbert Martinez, and Joe Morin. Their vision was to create an organization that would serve and represent the business interests of a small but growing Hispanic entrepreneurial class in Austin. To this day, the GAHCC’s primary goal is to continue the advancement and progression of a strong and stable economic culture for Hispanic businesses. The Chamber strives to reach these goals by developing business, management skills, and bridging access to financial capital while maintaining our cultural values and integrity.

GAHCC represents a broad array of organizations. The Chamber has members representing corporations, small businesses, nonprofits, and governmental agencies. Led by successful business people and community leaders, the GAHCC is a tremendous business resource for entrepreneurs, professionals, or corporations of any size in the Greater Austin area.
