2021 Festival of Trees

Kick-off your Christmas tradition with CASA of the Parkland's Festival of Trees! With the opportunity to bid on uniquely designed, fully decorated 7.5ft Christmas Trees, Table Top Trees, and, New this year, Gingerbread Houses! All are designed and decorated by local schools, businesses, and organizations.

There is something for everyone with an Elf Workshop with ornament decorating and letter writing to Santa. Also, photo backdrops provided for families to take their holiday pictures, live music from the Mineral Area Fine Arts Academy, Raffles, and more!

All proceeds from Festival of Trees stay local at CASA of the Parkland to give our local children who have been abused or neglected a powerful voice in court, at school, and in our community by helping CASA recruit, train, and support volunteers.

There over 500 children in foster care on any given night throughout the 24th circuit (St. Francois, Madison, Washington and Ste. Genevieve counties).

Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of the Parkland trains and supports volunteer advocates to work with the child’s attorney, children's division, court officials and people in each child’s life. CASA’s are trained to work one-on-one with their appointed kids to understand their history, their family situation, and their medical, therapeutic, and educational needs.

Every CASA volunteer is supported and guided by a staff supervisor with experience in the child welfare system who understands how to access the resources that the kids need. And CASA is effective because all it takes is one staff person to supervise up to 30 volunteers, who can serve 40 or 50 children.

Together we have the power and potential to create a community that is safe and healthy for all children. We can lift up every child’s voice and make sure they are in a safe and nurturing home.

The goal of Festival of Trees is to to come together as a community and raise funds to provide advocates for children who have been abused and neglected. CASA of the Parkland provides an opportunity for everyone to help CHANGE A CHILD'S STORY.
