We're having a metamorphosis!

Get a sneak peak at the Metamorphosis Gala's Silent Auction and start bidding! After the online auction closes, the auction will move to the live event on June 23.

Proceeds will support our future success, including a new entomology lab.

The Sophia M. Sachs Butterfly House and its governing organization's mission is to foster a better understanding and increased awareness of our natural world. The facility presents an unparalleled opportunity to impact science and natural history education in our communities and the world, and to promote environmental stewardship through example. The Butterfly House is a 501(C)(3) not for profit educational institution, as a division of the Missouri Botanical Garden.

Located in Chesterfield, the Butterfly House features an 8,000 sq foot tropical Conservatory, home to over 60 butterfly species flying amidst over 150 tropical plants. The Butterfly House also has several outdoor native pollinator gardens, live invertebrates on display in the Exhibit Hall and events throughout the year.

Join us on Saturday, June 23rd from 7 - 10 p.m. for the Metamorphosis Gala to celebrate 20 years of success and help us roar into the next 20 years!

Toast a new age of prosperity with a night of opulent, Roaring Twenties-themed celebration. Embrace all the glitz and glamour of the 1920s with roaming performers, antique cars, a wine pull, and a glamorous silent auction. Guys and dolls will enjoy themed-cocktails, heavy hors d’oeuvres, and sweet confections.
