Ari Schultz has been inpatient over 400 nights at Boston Children’s Hospital over the last several years. He’s been inpatient since early December, having been diagnosed with congestive heart failure and being placed on the heart transplant list. Since getting his heart in early March, Ari has been struggling with life-threatening complications. Right around the time of Ari’s transplant, the Schultz family (Erica, Mike, Ari (5), Lexi (3) and Eli (9 months) learned they lost their house to mold damage. Insurance doesn’t cover knocking down the house or rebuilding from scratch which they need to do and are currently sorting out.
