Brave the Shave 2017 - For Kids With Cancer

(Check back frequently - Items are added daily!)

Cancer is the #1 disease killer of children and teens. Each school day, 46 children are diagnosed with cancer. Brave the Shave exists to raise money to fight childhood cancer, and bring awareness the issue.

The 2017 Brave the Shave campaign will keep more money local for children, families, and hospitals, along with continuing to support national childhood cancer research.

While the campaign continues to grow and evolve, the reason for Brave the Shave will remain the same. It’s for the kids.

About Brave the Shave

Brave the Shave is the region’s largest fundraiser on a mission to fight childhood cancer through family support and research. Since 2008, nearly 3,500 volunteers have shaved their heads and raised more than $5 million for kids with cancer.

Brave the Shave believes all kids deserve a healthy, worry-free childhood which is why we are committed to supporting the full spectrum of their cancer journey by providing assistance to the families and supporting critical research. The funds raised for the 2018 campaign will benefit two organizations - the Brave the Shave Family Fund and the Andrew McDonough Be Positive (B+) Foundation.
