Support a healthy Lake Winnipeg – and local artists – by taking part in our online art auction! Back for a third year, this auction is your chance to bid on a diverse collection of pieces generously donated by lake-loving makers.

All winners must be able to pick up their pieces in Winnipeg.

The Lake Winnipeg Foundation (LWF) is an environmental non-governmental organization seeking solutions to ensure a clean, healthy Lake Winnipeg and watershed now and for future generations.

Founded in 2005 as a volunteer coalition of concerned lake-lovers, LWF today is emerging as a leading organization working collaboratively with non-profit, academic, industry and government sectors and the public to restore and protect our great lake.

Our eight-point Lake Winnipeg Health Plan recognizes our shared responsibility for the health of Lake Winnipeg and its watershed. Guided by our Science Advisory Council, we are translating evidence into solutions to address the root causes of harmful algal blooms and restore the balance of this vital ecosystem.
