About Our Auction
As you may know, Sir Matthew Begbie is undergoing seismic upgrades and will be moving into a new school in 2021. With the support of the teachers and staff , the PAC is launching a fundraising campaign to help with expenses for the new school that will not be covered by the VSB. Our past fundraising eff orts have allowed us to purchase a new playground addition that includes a hill slide, rubber surfacing, and climbing hand holds. After that, our current fundraised amount for the new school is $27,000. We still need to raise an additional $73,000
(approximately $240 per student). Our target move-in date is January-2022!
The funds raised will be used for various areas of school enhancement including (but not limited to, and in no specific order of priority): landscape enhancement (benches, seating, outdoor education areas), furniture for common interior areas (library café, foyer, etc.), AV equipment (for multipurpose room, gym, classrooms), and learning technology.
If you do not win an auction item, you can also donate directly to our school!
Ways to donate:
1. School Cash Online. Please see attached document for step-by-step
instructions. You will receive an immediate tax receipt.
2. E-Transfer. Please send e-transfers to begbiepactreasurer@gmail.com. Unfortunately, the PAC is unable to issue a tax reciept with this method.
