About Our Auction
Welcome to our holiday auction! This year the auction will include a variety of gift baskets, gift card trees, and some handmade items.
Funds raised help us continue our work providing a safe and stable environment for children and their families who are experiencing temporary homelessness as they work to attain self-sustainability.
About Family Promise of Wayne County
Family Promise of Wayne County is a non-profit organization that exists to help families with children experiencing homelessness find permanent housing and achieve self-sustainability. FPWC has been in operation since October of 2018. As a local Affiliate of the national Family Promise, 48 families and 114 children have transitioned through our program as of October 2022.
In addition to the temporary housing program, FPWC began the R.O.T.H. (Roof Over Their Heads) Program in 2021. R.O.T.H. is a prevention program aimed at keeping families in their current housing by providing a one-time rental arrears payment directly to the landlord, a security deposit, or first months rent to qualifying families. The R.O.T.H. Program has assisted 74 families and 168 children as of October 2022.
