About Our Auction

Welcome & Thank You for Your Support! We add new items frequently! Online Auctions are a great way to GIVE and GET something in return!

The American Legion Ravalli Post 47 was chartered in 1919, the first American Legion Post in the Bitterroot Valley. We are a patriotic, non-partisan, not-for-profit organization dedicated to serving Veterans and our Community.

2020 has been a challenging year for all of us and our aging Post building needed a new roof, heavily affecting our ability to continue our support of many community programs like the Bitterroot Red Sox, Boy Scouts, Boys State, Color Guard for military funerals, teaching flag etiquette in schools, the White Cross Highway Fatality Marker Program, etc. This fundraiser will help repay the $25,000 cost so we can continue to support our community.

About American Legion Ravalli Post 47

The American Legion is a nonpartisan, not-for-profit, 2-million-member organization committed to mentoring youth and sponsorship of wholesome programs in our communities, advocating patriotism and honor, promoting strong national security, and continued devotion to our fellow servicemembers and Veterans.

Post 47 was chartered in 1919, the first Post in the Bitterroot Valley, Montana. We sponsor American Legion Red Sox Baseball Team, Boy Scouts of America (Cub Scout Pack, Boys Scout Troop, and Venture Scout Crew) and Boys State attendees. We provide military honors at Veterans funerals and Color Guard at parades and ceremonies, host Memorial Day and Veterans Day ceremonies and social events, maintains the white cross highway fatality marker program and places flags and white cross markers on more than 1,100 local Veteran graves for Memorial Day. Our leadership also enjoys visiting Veterans at the assisted living centers in Hamilton and instructs school children on flag display and etiquette. Lastly, the Post donated Legion Park on 2nd and Bedford to the City of Hamilton, for all to enjoy.

We meet the 2nd Wednesday monthly at 7pm at the Post open to all Veterans. American Legion membership is open to all military veterans (and Active Duty members) who served since Dec 7, 1941. Service family members are eligible to join the American Legion Auxiliary and Sons of the American Legion. To join. or for more info on membership, visit https://www.legion.org/membership/whyjoin.
