Wet Your Whiskers!

Wet Your Whiskers is Fearless Kitty Rescue's annual wine-tasting fundraiser. Originally planned for May 2020 as a live event at Kittyville, we got pitched a major curveball with COVID-19, and had to change-up our strategy.

So welcome to our Virtual Wet Your Whiskers - a multi-day fund-raising event. This on-line Silent Auction is only one fun way that you can participate. Tune in to Facebook Live @fearlesskittyrescue and/or our YouTube channel for a walk-through of many of these great auction items. Links will be posted on our website, fearlesskittyrescue.org.

There will be live-streamed events on Friday and Saturday, including wine tastings of the wines we were planning to taste at the original live event. Bottles of these wines are available at fearlesskittyrescue.org, so you can join us from home. And continuing with the wine theme, check out the Wine Pull items in this silent auction to purchase a mystery bottle of red or white wine and maybe win a gift card with the wine.

Our original goal was to raise $30,000 for our rescue residents. With sponsorships and donations, we are already at $6,300, so we're targeting an ambitious $23,700 for the silent auction, fund-a-need, and wine sales. We'd love your help in reaching that goal!

Schedule of Events:
Wednesday, Oct. 21st @ noon - Silent auction and wine sale begin
Friday, Oct. 23rd @ 6 p.m. - Live-Streamed event kickoff and wine tasting, and fun with kitties.
Saturday, Oct 24th @ 6 p.m. - More Live-Streamed wine tasting and kitties.
Wednesday, Oct 28th @ 3 p.m. - Live-Streamed Mystery Wine Pull (watch our kitties go crazy with the ping-pong balls!)

Fearless Kitty Rescue is a recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit, no-kill cat rescue, serving our immediate community of Fountain Hills, Arizona, and surrounding areas. We are dedicated to rescuing cats left homeless for whatever reason – cats in municipal shelters where they are at high risk of euthanasia due to animal overpopulation, abandoned and homeless strays, cats surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances, and those in danger of abuse or neglect.
