About Our Auction
Funds raised from shopping at our Waldorf Wonder Auction go to support public Waldorf education at Sebastopol Charter School through the school's fundraising entity, The Charter Foundation.
The Charter Foundation is a 501(c)(3) public nonprofit corporation. We use the funds we raise to cover the gap in expenses between what the state provides and what it costs to maintain our school's facilities, hire high quality faculty, and implement the meaningful Waldorf programming that makes up our curriculum.
For 27 years, hands-on learning in the arts, music, and movement have helped our students to flourish, and our recent move to a 20 acre campus promises a bright future for our school. All of these efforts were made possible by the dedication of our past and present families and extended business community.
For a specific way to help "feather our campus nest," you're invited to contribute directly to our Fund-a-Weather Shelter, enabling us to provide the construction supplies needed to build a structure to shield students from the heat or rain in our pickup area. (See details in our first & Featured auction listing).
If you'd like to give towards the Charter Foundation's GENERAL auction income that are used to annually grant Sebastopol Charter School funds for what it needs most to educate current and future students, use the green "Donate" button on the top of this page!
About This Year's Fund-a-Need
Help Our Garden Grow!
This year’s Fund-A-Need is all about bringing a beautiful garden to life on our campus—a dream that aligns perfectly with our school’s Waldorf philosophy of fostering a deep connection with the earth through hands-on learning.
Our garden will provide a vibrant, thriving space for students to experience the joy of nature, connect with the seasons, and learn in harmony with the world around them. Thanks to several grants, we’ve made some progress—but we need your help to bring this vision fully to life!
Our Goal: We’re hoping to raise $2,523 to begin planting this next SPRING! Every contribution moves us closer to making this dream a reality.
We’re offering five ways to support this project, with every level making a difference:
- Seedling Support - $25
- Sapling Support - $50
- Pollinator Support - $100
- Cultivator Support - $250
- Master Gardener Support - $500
This garden represents a key reason we chose this spacious campus: to create opportunities for students to grow—both literally and figuratively—in a space that embodies holistic education and a deep respect for the earth.
Thank you for helping us cultivate this dream into reality!
