WHAT Celebrates the Outer Cape Auction

Even though WHAT can't be a part of your summer plans this year, we want to help bring you the best of the Outer Cape.  Our fantastic Board of Trustees and their friends have put together a selection of amazing experiences and items from your favorite Outer Cape businesses. There's one-of-a-kind artwork, unique and exciting Cape Cod adventures, and treats and services from the very best of our community.  Check back often, we'll be adding new items and experiences each week. All proceeds help WHAT cover costs until we can re-open for the 2021 season!

Founded in 1985, WHAT is the award-winning non-profit theater on Cape Cod that the New York Times says brought “a new vigor for theater on the Cape” and the Boston Globe called “a jewel in Massachusetts’ crown”. WHAT offers challenging diverse theatrical programming to the outer cape audience, giving the local community access to inventive performing arts in their own backyard, as well as becoming a beloved cultural cornerstone for the seasonal and vacationing population. WHAT has a 35 year track record of producing dynamic theater, with works ranging from beloved classics to edgy new works to exciting literary and dramatic adaptations.
