V-RAD (Virtual-Rotary Auction & Donations) 2020 is the largest fundraising initiative of the year for the Rotary Club of Sooke.

A significant portion of the funds raised by V-RAD will help construct two gazebos at Ayre Manor Seniors Housing. These gazebos will allow complex care residents to meet and visit with their friends and loved ones.

Additional funds will support local organizations and programs at EMCS, Sooke Food Bank, Sooke Backyard Garden Project, just to name a few. Your participation in and support of V-RAD 2020 is very much appreciated.

Take a look at the many wonderful auction items donated by local Sooke businesses, organizations, artisans and individuals. We encourage you to bid and bid often to ensure you’re able to secure those items that interest you.

Since 1987 the Rotary Club of Sooke has played an integral role within both the local community and internationally. Living by the Rotary motto of “Service Above Self”, Sooke Rotary has a significant impact in making the world a better place. Whether through a “hands on” project like the Rotary Pier or the John Muir School Teaching Garden or raising money in support of many worthwhile community initiatives, the Rotary Club of Sooke is here to serve.

International projects are also supported via financial contributions and partnerships with other NGO’s around the world. The community of Sooke is a huge supporter of Rotary initiatives and it is that support that allows the Rotary Club of Sooke to achieve Rotary’s vision of “together we see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change across the globe in our communities and in ourselves”.
