Lee Swords Charity Fishing Match USforIwan #2

This is the second auction is in aid of USforIwan who was diagnosed with leukemia in September 2009 when he was just 10 years old. Since then he has been through endless rounds of treatment to try and beat this terrible disease including two bone marrow transplants.

He is now 16, and sadly none of these treatments have provided Iwan with a cure, and our hope now is that we can take Iwan to America for a new treatment not yet available in the UK that offers him a real chance of a full cure and to fulfill the potential we know he has.

The treatment is called CAR T-Cell therapy and we need to raise £200,000 in order to fund this at Seattle Childrens Hospital.

Thank you for visiting our auction which will help raise money for Iwan to send him to the USA for life saving treatment of Leukemia.

This is the second auction and will run during February ending on Friday 26th February at 8pm it has similar lots on offer to the first which raised an incredible £2700 so this is your chance to win some fantastic prizes and help raise much needed money for Iwan.

Lee Swords and Jerry Gleeson are also organising a fishing match on the mighty River Trent on the weekend of the 5th and 6th March and would like to thank Brian High & the committee of Ashfield Angling Club for the wonderful gesture in providing the venue for the "Lee Swords River Trent Fish In" to raise money for Usforiwan.

The club have kindly given us the permission to use part of the clubs stretch at Burton Joyce from the Rack downstream on the weekend of 4th to 6th March 2016 where approx 50 anglers will pay £50 each to take part in the fund raising event, all the proceeds from the event and a raffle will of course go to USforIwan.
