Auction for Parkinson's Awareness

The Undergraduate Neuroscience Organization is hosting the inaugural Auction for Parkinson's Awareness (APA). Since the advent of our organization, our philanthropy efforts have always been to support Parkinson's research and patients. This year we will auction off items representative of alternative therapy for those suffering with Parkinson's disease. This includes physical exercise, wellness and well-being, and visual art. Admission is free, but donations are strongly encouraged. All money is donated to the Parkinson's foundation.

The Undergraduate Neuroscience Organization (UNO) is a group of undergraduate students at the University of Georgia on the pursuit of knowledge through neuroscience. As a flourishing team, we aim to serve UGA, the Athens community, and people everywhere affected by neurodegenerative diseases. Our mission is to emphasize the value of neuroscience and show the necessity of excellence in research. By engaging in philanthropic projects, we aid neuroscience research and spread awareness about issues in neuroscience. Through spreading awareness, we help unlock the secrets of the brain and push back the frontiers of science to change lives everywhere.
