About Our Auction

The Upper Arlington Rotary Club is comprised of over 180+ Upper Arlington business persons, professionals, and community leaders who have made a commitment to “Service Above Self” in order to improve the lives both in the UA Community and elsewhere around
the world. Money raised through our annual fundraiser provides the funds for our charitable activities. In the 50-year history of our club, more than $2 million dollars has been donated to
organizations and programs such as:

• Providing supplies to and tutoring to a Columbus elementary school.
• Providing meals at the YWCA Family Center and Ronald McDonald House
• Participating in the establishment of a trade school, a Junior High School, as well as building several preschools in Guatemala.
• Major contributor to the renovation of the Upper Arlington Mirolo Barn
• Providing Scholarships to local high school students
• A sponsor for the Hilltop Preschool Program (targeting at risk kids)
• Funding for underserved and food fragile children in Upper
Arlington.
• Funding for Santa’s Silent Helpers Program.
• Funding for Bed Brigade (provide real wood beds for folks in Columbus area)
• Funding for Grace Haven (shelter for victims of human trafficking)
• Funding and volunteering at Furniture Bank of Columbus (providing low cost/free furniture)
• Funding and volunteering for Home for Families (formerly Homeless Families Foundation)
• Participating in the construction of the new Upper Arlington High School
• Supporter of the Upper Arlington Commission on Aging File of Life Program
• Major donor on Rotary International’s worldwide drive to eliminate polio.
• Lead donor to UA Community Foundation’s gateway project at Northam Park
• Supporter of Meals on Wheels program
• Donations to Honor Flight Columbus
