About Our Auction

AUCTION EXTENDED to Thursday, OCTOBER 22, at 5:00 pm.
New items are being added daily!!!
For the first time in over 50 years, the United Congregational Church Thursday Thrift Shop was not able to open this season due to the restrictions that resulted from the COVID 19 pandemic. But the shop, which is lovingly called by many, "The Little Thrift Shop That Could", has found a way to bring some of the excitement of bargain hunting back into our lives. We have gathered a wonderful assortment of items that would normally grace our shelves and instead have put them into this on-line auction.

Check out the auction 'shelves' for that special something that you've been looking for or that unexpected item, you just can't live without -- all at those amazing Thursday Thrift Shop prices. Some items allow biding and the "sky is the limit". Other items simply have a "Buy It Now" price. Once you select the "Buy It Now" price the item will show as Sold and no other bids or offers will be allowed. See Payment and Pick Up instructions for information about how you can pay for your items and pick them up.

Our Thrift Shop On-line Auction/Sale is sponsored by our wonderful friend Ellie Wickes of Mott & Chace Sotheby's International Real Estate. We are grateful for her support. See her available real estate listings here:

About UCC Thursday Thrift Shop

The Thursday Thrift shop is a mission of the United Congregational Church of Little Compton which contributes to many local, regional and global organizations. The 'Thrift Shop', founded in 1969, has been a mainstay in the center of town for over 50 years. This year, due to restrictions resulting from the Covid19 pandemic, the usually bustling shop has not been able to open. This online auction is our way of bringing some of the excitement of 'finding a bargain at the Thrift Shop' back into our lives.
