About Our Auction
Thunderball is a chance for you to mix and mingle on a winter's evening surrounded by great food, drinks, laughter, a few games and auction items. The focus is on providing a fun night out where you can spend time with some really amazing people who we are lucky to call our TBirds family. Whether you are a Thunderball veteran or just coming for the first time, we are excited to have you be part of the only time our association can all get together.
Thunderball 2020 is providing a new twist to an established fundraiser where all of our parents and supporters will have a chance to enjoy a great night out with all proceeds of the event going towards our new Thunderbirds Bursary program that will start helping TBird families for the 2020/21 season.
TBirds family and friends are invited to attend the event on February 1 (see the Featured items to purchase your ticket). There are no restrictions on who can participate in our online auction or offer donations to our Thunderbird Bursary program so please share the news within your friends and family.
HOW TO BID:
1) Exact Bid - if you want to simply put in a number and make that stand up for the moment, use the exact bid option. You will receive a message if you are outbid and you can decide if you want to make another bid.
2) Proxy Bid - A proxy bid allows you to enter the maximum amount you're willing to spend with the goal of winning the item at the lowest possible price. The system will bid for you, up to your maximum proxy bid amount, as additional bids are entered on the item. This way, you. don't have to keep coming back in and bidding - you can let technology work for you! No one will know what your maximum amount so your secret is safe with us.

The Vancouver Thunderbird Minor Hockey Association consists of 1000+ players and their families and is one of the largest minor hockey associations in British Columbia.
Our mission is to create a rewarding hockey experience for our community of players that is founded on character, teamwork, and the pursuit of excellence on and off the ice.
Through our Thunderbird bursary, we provide financial assistance to Thunderbird families which allows kids to continue playing hockey.
