About Our Auction

It's that time of year! Are you thankful for cats and dogs?! We are and we can't imagine life without them. The holidays are upon us and shopping online is a great way to "shop safe!" If you are looking for a wonderful gift AND a way to help your community, look no further! Bid on exquisite pastels that were donated to the Floyd County Humane Society by artist and neighbor Gretchen St. Lawrence to help us raise money to support our programs! Our spay/neuter program, our emergency medical assistance programs for our dogs and cats and for the community, and our pet food bank at Plenty need more funding before the end of the year! We had to cancel our annual Paws Cause fundraiser due to the pandemic and we need help rebuilding our funds! Please feel free to stop by Floyd Jewelry to view the beautiful pieces in person!! See http://stlawrenceartgallery.com/about/ to learn more about Gretchen St. Lawrence. The pastels were framed by local gallery owner, Ron Campbell. http://themaggiegallery.com/index.html Two bonus pieces donated by Elizabeth Wheeler - beaded portraits of our foster dogs (framed in shadow boxes) and a selection of prints donated from a private collection.
