About Take Stock in Children of Lake and Sumter Counties
The mission of Take Stock in Children is to provide students and their families inspiration through mentoring, support, and scholarships by empowering them to achieve their dreams of an education beyond high school. TSIC began in 1996 awarding scholarships to 13 area students. Today, TSIC has assisted over 563 Lake and Sumter County Students with tuition scholarships.
